Pillar’s work with Montage Health helped shape the early PillarTrak platform. The relationship grew around real operational responsibilities: understanding visitor activity and maintaining accountability for physical keys across an active healthcare environment. Each application addresses a distinct responsibility while contributing to a more coordinated healthcare security operation.
Front desks
GUEST provides a structured workflow for registering visitors, applying entry requirements, issuing badges, maintaining presence awareness, and retaining visitor records according to the organization’s policies.
Reception kept a printed log for the first month as a fallback, then stopped on their own. Badge issuance takes one lookup, and the visit closes at checkout rather than at the end of a shift.
Keys
KEYS provides a structured record of physical-key custody, status, location, assignment, return, and history across responsible teams and access points.
Facilities asked for a weekly report of keys still out past shift end, which now goes to three supervisors every Friday. Every cabinet position is tied to a person and a time.
